Clio privacy policy
Clio is a private tool used only by its owner, Marvin Dy. It is not offered to anyone else. This page explains what Clio does with Google user data.
What Clio accesses
With the owner's approval through Google OAuth, Clio reads and changes files in the owner's Google Drive, including Google Sheets, Docs and Slides. It acts only on the Google account that approved it.
How the data is used
Clio uses this access only to carry out tasks the owner asks for, such as updating a spreadsheet or organising folders. Clio runs on the owner's own computer. The owner operates it with an AI assistant, so the contents of files Clio reads may be sent to that assistant's provider to complete the owner's request.
What Clio does not do
- It does not sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone for advertising or any other purpose.
- It does not use Google user data to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models.
- It does not keep copies of Drive content on any server. The sign-in token is stored only on the owner's computer.
Clio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be withdrawn at any time from Google Account, Third-party apps and services. Removing it stops Clio from reaching the account immediately.
